Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Marbles on Teams website, companion service, and Twitch extension (the “Service”), operated by TheJeansentis. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Relationship to Marbles on Stream

Marbles on Teams is an independent, unofficial side-companion app for Marbles on Stream. We did not create and do not own, develop, publish, or operate Marbles on Stream. The Service is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Marbles on Stream or its creators, developers, or publishers.

Eligibility and Twitch

You must be permitted to use Twitch and comply with Twitch’s terms, community rules, and Bits policies. Marbles on Teams is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Twitch.

The Service

The Service records results submitted by participating broadcasters and provides community leaderboards, statistics, teams, tasks, XP, cosmetic settings, and stream overlays. Broadcaster-only tools, including the companion app and optional chat features, are separate from normal viewer use of the extension.

Accounts and identity

Public statistics can be browsed without sharing identity. Features that change your profile, team, or rewards require Twitch’s identity-sharing flow or Twitch login. You may act only for an account you control and must not evade access controls or impersonate another user.

Broadcaster responsibilities

Broadcasters are responsible for installing the companion app only on systems they control, keeping access tokens secure, configuring optional chat features, and ensuring their use of submitted game data and chat complies with applicable rules. Do not share companion credentials or access tokens.

Bits and digital experiences

Where enabled, viewers may use Bits through Twitch to activate a clearly identified Bit Task for the watched channel. The exact task is selected before confirmation and is available to the channel community for the stated period. Bits exchanges are processed by Twitch and are also governed by Twitch’s terms and policies.

XP, cosmetics, tasks, and other digital features have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for money. Earned cosmetic rewards may be selected at random from the Service’s disclosed cosmetic system, but random reward spins are not offered as Bits products.

Community content and conduct

You are responsible for team names, tags, descriptions, and other content you submit. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or personally identifying content. We may reject, rename, hide, or remove content and may restrict access to protect the community or comply with Twitch requirements.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis and may change, pause, or end. Results can be delayed or inaccurate because of game-file changes, network failures, duplicate names, or broadcaster configuration. We may correct data and adjust features, XP, task values, or Bits products when needed for fairness, security, or policy compliance.

Intellectual property

The Service’s original code, design, and branding remain the property of their respective owner. Twitch, Marbles on Stream, and third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or misrepresent the Service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and the choices available to you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, security threats, policy violations, or conduct that harms the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service and revoke Twitch access at any time. Privacy requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, with the date above showing the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without limiting mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply where you live.
